30-second ad script

Use this template for a paid social or pre-roll ad where the pen has to finish each picture before the beat ends; write the solution beat first and cut the hook and pain down to fit. It produces about 30 seconds of narration in 9:16 or 1:1, four scenes, with the reveal time on each scene set to match its beat.

Template

# [Product or offer: the one thing it does]

## Hook (0–3 seconds)
[Five to eight words. A question, a number or a bold statement. No brand name yet.]
What we draw: [One object, drawn fast. The pen should finish it inside three seconds.]

## Pain (3–10 seconds)
[Two short sentences about the moment the viewer feels the problem. Be specific about the time of day and the place.]
What we draw: [The viewer in that moment. One figure, one setting, one visible problem.]

## Solution (10–22 seconds)
[Name the product. Say what it does in one sentence and how in one more. One benefit, not three.]
What we draw: [The same figure, same setting, problem replaced by the product's result. Draw the change, not a logo.]

## Call to action (22–30 seconds)
[The offer, the place to get it and the deadline or price, in that order.]
What we draw: [Product name and URL, then the offer written beneath in larger letters.]

Filled example

# Weeknight: dinner planned before you leave work

## Hook (0–3 seconds)
It is 6 p.m. What's for dinner?
What we draw: A wall clock with the hands on six, drawn in three quick strokes.

## Pain (3–10 seconds)
You are standing in the kitchen in your coat, the fridge open, and nobody knows. Takeout again, and it is only Tuesday.
What we draw: A person in a coat staring into an open fridge with one sad lemon inside, a phone in the other hand.

## Solution (10–22 seconds)
Weeknight plans five dinners every Sunday from what you already like, and sends the shopping list to your phone. You cook from the list. Nobody stands in front of the fridge.
What we draw: The same person, coat off, at the counter with a pan on the stove and a short list on the phone screen with five items ticked.

## Call to action (22–30 seconds)
Your first month is free at weeknight.example. Start before Sunday and this week's plan is ready.
What we draw: The word Weeknight and the URL, then "First month free" written larger beneath them.
