Pricing questions
What counts as a video minute?
Minutes are measured on the rendered video you export. Drafts, storyboard previews and scene edits do not use your allowance, so you can fix scenes freely and only pay for what you render. During the beta, minute metering is not switched on yet, so renders do not use up your allowance.
Do unused minutes roll over?
No. Plan minutes are a monthly allowance, and there is no rollover today. During the beta, minute metering is not switched on yet, so renders do not use up your allowance. The 2 free welcome minutes are a one-time gift that stays until you use it.
Is color extra? Is vertical extra?
No. Every plan, including Free, has all 37 styles in color and exports in 16:9, 9:16 and 1:1. Some tools charge $99–199 a month for those; we don't.
Can I cancel or change plans?
Yes, at any time. Switch plans from Settings → Plans. Cancel, update your card or download invoices from Settings → Billing → Manage billing, which opens the Polar customer portal. A cancelled plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for, and your projects, templates and media stay in your workspace.
Is there a plan for teams and agencies?
Not yet. There are no team seats or custom plans today; every plan is one account. Pro covers most agencies with 510 minutes a month. If you need more than that, contact us and tell us what you make.
Is there an API plan?
No. There is no separate API plan or price. Every account, including Free, can create its own API keys and use the API and MCP endpoint, both in beta. Minutes are not metered during the beta.
Does publishing to YouTube, Instagram or TikTok cost extra?
No. Doodaro Publish, coming soon, will be included on every plan at no extra cost: connect YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Threads, TikTok, LinkedIn and X, then post or schedule your videos from the dashboard. It is not live yet; platforms switch on one by one as each approves Doodaro. Until then, download the MP4 and post it yourself.
How does checkout work?
Paid plans are billed monthly in USD. Checkout runs through Polar, our merchant of record, so they handle the payment, sales tax and receipts, and Doodaro never stores your card number. You can buy a plan before you have an account; after payment you set a password and land in your new workspace.
