Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Doodaro ("Doodaro", "we", "us"). They cover the website at doodaro.com, the studio at app.doodaro.com, and the Doodaro API and MCP endpoint (together, "the service"). By creating an account, buying a plan or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. Who can use Doodaro

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to create an account. If you use Doodaro for a company or other organization, you confirm that you can accept these terms for it, and "you" includes that organization.

2. Your account

  • Give a real email address you control. We use it to sign you in and to reach you about your account and billing.
  • Keep your password and your API keys secret. You are responsible for what happens under your account and your keys. Revoke a key in the dashboard if you think it has leaked, and tell us at support@doodaro.com if you think someone else has used your account.
  • One person or organization per account. Do not share, sell or transfer an account.

3. Plans, payment and cancellation

Free. A free account needs no card and includes a one-time allowance described on the pricing page.

Paid plans. Paid plans are subscriptions billed monthly in US dollars, in advance. Prices and what each plan includes are shown on the pricing page at the time you buy. Your plan renews automatically every month until you cancel.

Polar is the merchant of record. Payments are processed by Polar, which sells the subscription to you, charges your card, handles sales tax and VAT, and sends your receipts. Its own terms and privacy policy also apply to the purchase. Doodaro never receives or stores your full card number.

Cancelling. You can cancel at any time in Settings → Billing → Manage billing. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you already paid for, and it does not renew after that. Your projects, templates and media stay in your workspace on the Free plan.

Refunds. Payments are non-refundable, including for partly used months and unused minutes, except where the law requires a refund. We may still choose to give a refund in a particular case, for example after a billing error. To ask, write to support@doodaro.com from your account email. Details are in our Refund Policy.

Plan changes. You can switch plans in Settings → Plans. An upgrade is charged the prorated difference right away; a downgrade takes effect as Polar applies it to your subscription.

Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails and is not fixed, your paid plan can be paused or ended, and your account returns to the Free plan.

Price changes. We may change prices. A new price applies to your subscription only from a renewal after we tell you about it, so you have time to cancel first.

Minutes. Plans describe a monthly allowance of video minutes, counted on rendered videos. Unused minutes do not roll over. While minute metering is switched off during the beta, renders do not use up the allowance; we will tell you before metering starts.

4. Your content

You own what you bring and what you make. Your scripts, uploaded pictures and recordings, templates, and the pictures, narration and videos generated for you ("your content") belong to you, as between you and Doodaro. You can publish, sell and reuse the videos you make.

The permission we need. You give us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to host, store, copy, process and display your content only to run the service for you: saving your projects, sending the text and images needed to generate pictures and voices to our AI providers, rendering your videos, and keeping backups. This permission ends when your content is deleted, except for copies in backups until they expire. We do not use your content for advertising and we do not sell it.

Your responsibility. You confirm you have the rights to everything you upload, import or paste, including documents, web pages you link, reference images and voice recordings, and that your content does not break the law or anyone's rights.

AI output. Pictures, voices and story drafts are produced by AI models. Output can be inaccurate, can resemble other material, and may not be unique to you; other users can receive similar output. Review scripts and videos before you publish them. You are responsible for how you use the output, including following the rules of any platform you post to and labelling AI-generated content where a platform or law asks for it.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use Doodaro to break our Acceptable Use Policy. In particular, do not use Doodaro to:

  • create deepfakes, face swaps or realistic depictions of a real person doing or saying something they did not do or say, clone or imitate a real person's voice, or create sexual or adult content of any kind;
  • create or share content that is illegal, sexually exploits minors, promotes terrorism or violence against people, or harasses, threatens or defames someone;
  • create sexual content involving real people, or impersonate a real person or organization in a way that could mislead;
  • create misleading content meant to deceive people about elections, health or public safety, or run scams or fraud;
  • infringe copyright, trademarks, privacy or other rights, including importing documents or pages you have no right to use;
  • upload malware, probe or attack the service, get around rate limits, plan limits or access controls, or access other users' data;
  • resell or share access to the service, or use it to build a competing product, except through the API as described below;
  • break the usage policies of our AI providers, which apply to the requests we send on your behalf.

We may remove content or limit, suspend or close an account that breaks these rules. Where it is reasonable and safe, we will tell you why first.

6. The API and MCP endpoint

Every account can create API keys and use the Doodaro API and MCP endpoint, which are in beta. Requests made with your keys count as your use of the service and follow these terms, including the rate limits and production limits described in the developer docs. Tools and AI agents you connect act on your behalf; you are responsible for what they do with your keys. We may change beta features, and we will try to give notice of changes that break existing integrations.

7. Third-party services

Doodaro relies on other providers to run, such as hosting, storage, payment and AI providers, which are listed in our Privacy Policy. If you connect a social media account, Doodaro publishes only the content you choose, to the account you choose, when you ask it to. Your use of those platforms stays subject to their own terms and policies, including their rules on what you may post, and you can disconnect them at any time. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.

YouTube. Doodaro's YouTube features use the YouTube API Services. By connecting a YouTube channel to Doodaro, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's use of your data is covered by the Google Privacy Policy, and ours by our Privacy Policy. You can remove Doodaro's access to your channel at any time from your Google Account's security settings.

8. Beta features and availability

Doodaro is a young product and some features are labelled beta or coming soon. We work to keep the service running and your data safe, but we do not promise it will always be available, error-free, or render within a particular time. We may change, add or remove features. If we remove a paid feature in a way that materially reduces your plan, you can cancel.

9. Our property

The Doodaro name, logo, website, studio software, rendering engine, styles and templates we provide remain ours. You may use the provided styles and templates to make your own content under these terms, but you may not copy, resell or redistribute them as templates or assets on their own, or copy or reverse engineer the service.

10. Ending your account

You can stop using Doodaro at any time and ask us to delete your account as described on the data deletion page. Cancel any paid plan first. We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, if required by law, or to protect the service or other users. If we close your account without a breach by you, we will refund the unused part of any prepaid period.

11. Disclaimers

To the extent the law allows, the service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement of AI output, and uninterrupted availability. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by contract.

12. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Doodaro is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill. Our total liability for all claims about the service is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months before the claim, or US$50 if you paid nothing. These limits do not apply to liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for fraud or gross negligence.

13. Indemnity

If someone makes a claim against us because of your content or your breach of these terms, you agree to cover the reasonable costs of that claim, to the extent the law allows.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When a change is material, we will tell you by email or in the studio at least 14 days before it takes effect, unless the change is required by law sooner. If you keep using Doodaro after the change takes effect, the new terms apply. If you do not agree, cancel and stop using the service.

15. Disputes

Before starting any formal dispute, please write to us at support@doodaro.com so we can try to solve it together. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under the consumer protection laws where you live, including any right to bring a claim in your local courts.

16. General

If part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a right straight away, we do not give it up. You may not transfer these terms without our consent; we may transfer them as part of selling or reorganizing the service, and we will tell you if that happens. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement about the service.
